T.R.I.B.E. Comics
Scott was born and raised in Glendale, AZ. He was always interested in animation and Sunday paper comics until he picked up his first Marvel Spider-Man issue at a Seven-Eleven on his way home from school. Since then he has always tried pushing himself in his art skills with pencil and paper to become that skilled artist. Christy Spettnagel was added to the group in 2009 to help enhance and push forward the T.R.I.B.E. STUDIO name to the public.
Every story has a beginning and this is ours. Tribe Studio Comics was formed by three gentlemen named William Sanders, Matt Leuenburger, and Scott Shehi. The three had a dream to work in comics, inspired by the stories they loved growing up. Many years had passed with many stories coming and going, which created the universe we call Tribe. Dozens of characters and stories were being born, but it wasn't until 2009 when Scott Shehi pushed forward with the help of Joe Flores and Dustin Spino.
In recent years Tribe has changed focus from their own stories and books to become an accessible indie publisher. Writers and artists can approach Tribe with their ideas to gain help at events, promotions, and marketing. All creators retain all their rights. Many popular indie books have been released under the Tribe name including The Comic Bug, Shadow: Uprising, Hot Dog Man, and The Armadillo Bros.
